A Little About Me
Barbie Jo Bontemps started drag over 5 years ago right here in Toronto. Known as Mama MoJo, BJ (if you’re nasty) has been the host of MoJo Toronto’s FML MONDAYS for the last 4+ years bringing levity and inclusivity into the Toronto lgbtq2s+ scene. Recipient of a POZTO award for activism and outreach in the HIV/AIDS community of Toronto, Barbie continually engages in outreach and fundraising efforts in the Church and Wellesley community. Mother of the house of Bontemps and sister to the legendary Dmanda Tension: Barbie is always ready to laugh, roast you and toast you!
